Viewers are free to take a mask from the containers. The “use” for them is left undefined, however one function of the masks is to reveal hidden parts of the prints on the opposite wall when looked through.

Displayed in combination with For Your Use: Take 1 Keep 1, hidden parts of the comics are revealed when looked through the red lenses in the masks. The audience was left to make this discovery on their own. The top set of comics show what the viewer sees without the red lens, and the bottom set shows what the viewer sees with the red lens.
