This fish head trash can lid was created for the Fishtown District & FNA anti-litter public arts project “Feed the Fishes”. Inspired by my favorite flower, Bird of Paradise, I took the floral, organic shapes and gave them an aquatic feel to match the form of the fish. The design is meant to convey the idea of a bit of paradise on any street corner.
